After a career in science, travel and international business I have returned to my roots in West Sussex. No doubt I am biased, but after travelling extensively around the world, living at various times in Germany, the USA and India and managing tour groups throughout the UK and Western Europe, I couldn’t help but fall back in love with the area where I grew up when I returned here 10 years ago. As a misguided youth, I qualified in Chemistry and took many years to realise I should have studied History of Art! Now, as well as lecturing, I thoroughly enjoy introducing visitors to the history, art and hidden treasures of our region. My particular interests are in art, gardens and the rural traditions.
