Join Shelagh as she follows in the footsteps of the medieval travellers and pilgrims – Friday 6th September at 10.45am.

From the 13th Century, pilgrims made their way, often barefoot, to the Shrine of St Richard at Chichester Cathedral and travellers and tradesmen came to fairs and markets.  Walk in their footsteps (in your comfy shoes!) and visit St Mary’s Hospital where they found food and care , hear about the folk who peopled Chichester’s streets throughout the ages and visit the location of the Shrine which was the longed for destination for so many.
