ChTG only uses Institute of Tourist Guiding (ITG) fully qualified guides. ITG guides are trained to be entertaining, informative and possess up to date knowledge of the places they are qualified to guide.
Green Badge Guides are typically town or city specialists. They train for up to a year and take rigorous externally assessed written and practical examinations of their chosen location.
Blue Badge Guides are similarly trained and examined on courses lasting at least one year and their expertise extends to an entire region for example the South East of England. ITG qualified guides are internationally recognised for providing the highest standards of excellence in tourist guiding.
I will be visiting Chichester next May.I have researched this city to find that my first ancestors came from this city/area.
I am interested in a walking tour of the city and well as the area.
I realize Monday, May 6 is a holiday. Will there be any tours that day?
I will also be contacting the Records Office for an appointment on May 7.
Thank you in advance for information regarding my stay. One question: how far in advance should I make your reservations?
Two questions: I will be arriving in Chichester May 5-8, 2019.
I would like to join the walking tour on Sunday, May 5, if possible.
Will there be tours offered on Monday,May 6 as I see it is a holiday? Then, are your WC’s free or require coins. If so, what is the cost? Thank you –
